Rikke Aaroe Carlsen has a professional background combined of engineering and business leadership. She recently formed her own Risk Consulting company called “Ready?” advising and teaching in Technical Risk Analysis and Operational Risk Management. Delivering services in the areas of Readiness and Business Continuity Management, Business Interruption Analysis, and various forms of Probabilistic Risk Analysis. Also offering teaching in her areas of expertise.

Besides running her own consulting business, Rikke is leading a cross-organizations secretariat for innovation, research & development in the Danish Maritime industry. Prior to this Rikke has been Head of Department for Air- & Environment in Denmark and Sweden at FORCE Technology, Marine Underwriting Manager in Codan Marine/Royal Sun Alliance in Denmark, Solutions Development Leader in Marsh Global Property Risk Consulting Practice, Nordic Practice Leader for Risk Engineering in Marsh, Risk Management Engineer in Aon Denmark, and Naval Architect in Scandlines ferry operators in Denmark.
