Donald Mayo is the president of Don Mayo - Fire Protection Consultant, Inc.

Don established the Company in October 1987, to provide consulting services in all aspects of Fire Protection including fire detection and suppression systems, smoke exhaust and control systems and risk management related issues.

Specialty is consulting with owners and architects in the construction of high end retail sales facilities and highly automated distribution projects for several of the Nation's leading retailers.

Since 1984 have worked as the principle risk management consultant on fifty-three specialty retail stores in the U.S. and seventy-eight distribution centre projects, in the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Europe. These projects ranged from 4000 sq m to over 160.000 sq m.

1978 to 1987, Vice President, Property Engineering for the San Francisco Office of Frank B. Hall & Co., International insurance broker specializing in risk management programs for worldwide clientele. Oversaw a staff of fourteen engineers & technicians located in offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston and Tampa. Promoted to Vice President and department head 1981.
